I found these seed pods and made a planter ! Although this is so tiny I am not sure it qualifies as a planter - only about 2" across but just the right size for one of these airplants.
Macrame has been spotted every where. Local shops, etsy, Urban Outfitters windows - I was even behind a girl who bought yards of thick upholstery cording for the Anthropologie window display in the Americana ( Glendale, LA ), so I thought I post my take on Modern Macrame here. Pot holders large and small, necklaces, airplant hanger and rings ... next project is a wall hanging or a door hanging to keep out the summer flies .... I like the pop of the neon, it adds the modern to macrame and takes the 70's out ;)
I have a collection of dolls, from my mother's china head cloth body one she had as a child, to my Sarah doll and right up to the LaLaLoopsy line. I even remember pretending I believed in Father Christmas so I could get a 'big' (I expect she was about 30 inches ) doll one year ... So I started making some, they sold so quickly I think this is the only photo I have .. |
